Mila Bozic is a painter and illustrator based in Herceg Novi, Montenegro, a picturesque coastal town renowned for its vibrant art scene. Influenced by the town's rich cultural history and its legacy of world-class artists, Mila’s artwork is deeply rooted in the beauty of her surroundings. From a young age, Mila had a passion for drawing and painting, often channeling the stunning landscapes around her into her work. Throughout her school years, she was a natural at helping classmates with art assignments, and her drawings often caught the attention of local exhibitions, showcasing on display boards and in local newspapers.
Visual Journey
Between 2017 and 2020, Mila’s works were featured in several local art exhibits and galleries in Herceg Novi, solidifying her place in the town's artistic community. She holds a degree in Art and Humanities from Coastline Community College in Orange County, California, and has spent over a decade working in Digital Marketing. Despite her successful career in the digital world, Mila always dreamed of pursuing her passion for art and enrolling at the Academy of Arts in Italy.
Today, Mila operates a home studio in Herceg Novi, where she creates contemporary, expressive art, primarily working with acrylics. Her love for the medium and its versatility shines through in each of her pieces, reflecting her connection to both her hometown and her artistic journey.
